The Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness is a timed run, or it can be walked at your leisure. There are in-person and virtual options for registration. It is hosted by the Christina Bohn Foundation, which is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to raising awareness of and supporting those with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Premenstrual Exacerbation (PME).
This is the third annual Christina Bohn Memorial 5K for PMDD Awareness. We are celebrating the third anniversary of Missouri's PMDD Awareness Day, which is on Christina's birthday, October 2. On November 3, 2021, Christina died by suicide because of PMDD. She was 33 years old, the mother of two young children, had been a thoracic ICU nurse, and was a classically trained vocalist and pianist. Her loving and kind nature endeared her to everyone who knew her.
