Christian Singles Fellowship & Adventure
Looking to meet other Christian single parents, spend meaningful time with your kids, and enjoy some outdoor fellowship? Join us for a Single Parents + Kids: Fishing & Fellowship afternoon at Chisholm Park in Hurst.
This gathering is especially for Christian single parents (mom or dad) and their children to connect, encourage one another, and build community while enjoying a fun experience together.
Our goal is to create opportunities where single parents can fellowship with other believers while also including their children in the experience. We want families to feel welcome, supported, and able to create positive memories together.
We will spend the afternoon fishing, talking, and enjoying time outdoors. Fishing rods, tackle, and bait will be provided, so no equipment or previous fishing experience is needed.
The event is recommended for children ages 4–10, although younger or older siblings are welcome to attend with their parent or guardian.
This is a casual, family-friendly gathering — nothing formal. Parents and guardians must remain with and supervise their children throughout the event.
The event is free to attend. Optional donations are welcome and will help support fishing supplies and future family fellowship events.
Fishing License: Children under 17 do not need a fishing license. Adults only need a license if they are fishing themselves; supervising or helping a child without fishing does not require one. Final determination is up to the game warden on site.
Please RSVP only if you plan to attend so we can prepare enough fishing equipment and supplies for everyone.
