Sets 7pm & 9pmThis event features live music from Christian Sands, a Steinway Artist and five-time GRAMMY-nominated pianist whose command of the entire jazz language is nothing short of breathtaking.
Praised by the New York Times for a style that integrates prog rock, gospel, and classical into a forward-tumbling jazz conception, Sands has performed at the Village Vanguard, Newport Jazz Festival, the Kennedy Center, and alongside luminaries from Wynton Marsalis and Dianne Reeves to Yo-Yo Ma. A former Artist in Residence at the Monterey Jazz Festival and Creative Director of the Erroll Garner Estate, he brings rare depth and range to every performance, from stride, bebop, post-bop, Brazilian, and beyond, all delivered with taste, swing, and unmistakable soul. On the Blue LLama stage, Christian Sands is simply not to be missed.
