The Sinlessness of the Prophets?The Qur’an and the Bible mention many of the same prophets by name, including Abraham, Moses, David, and Jonah. Muslims and Christians also agree that prophets played a vital role in communicating the word of God to humanity. But what are we to conclude regarding the moral quality of their lives? Did the prophets commit sins? If so, what was the nature and significance of those sins?
Our September Christian-Muslim Discussion Evening will focus on the Old Testament prophets. Jesus and Muhammad will be considered at the October discussion.
We hope you can join us as we begin exploring the Christian and Islamic views of the prophets of God.
