About this Event
After a sold-out concert in October 2025, Chris and Friends is back—this time with a big band Christmas celebration!
Join trumpeter and bandleader Christopher Yong, a live jazz big band and three featured vocalists for an evening of swinging rhythms, soaring brass and Christmas cheer at Blackbird, Gillman Barracks.
Enjoy familiar favourites including In the Mood, Fly Me to the Moon and Laufey’s From the Start, alongside Christmas tunes to get you into the festive spirit. With the energy of a big band and three distinctive voices, there’s plenty to look forward to across two sets of live music.
Whether you’re a jazz enthusiast or simply looking for a festive evening with friends, come share the music and celebrate the season with us!
