Tri-Cities Opera is fortunate to have a select volunteer chorus. These dedicated and talented people are chosen by audition at the beginning of each season. Joining the Tri-Cities Opera Chorus ensures a unique and rewarding experience. It is an ideal opportunity to better individual vocal technique, musicianship, and knowledge of foreign languages, while receiving first-hand stage experience from some of the industry’s most sought-after professionals. Tri-Cities Opera Chorus members also enjoy complimentary tickets to productions they participate in and a volunteer appreciation dinner at the end of the season.
Audition Requirements:
* Prepare one theatrical-style song (opera or musical theatre) in any language (Italian preferred).
* Please bring sheet music for the pianist, hole-punched in a three-ring binder.
* Memorization is encouraged but not required. If using music, bring a second copy for yourself.
* All auditioners will be asked to confirm availability for all rehearsals and performances at the time of audition.
