Join us for the CHORAS Community Day, a one-day event dedicated to open-source room acoustics simulation. CHORAS (Community Hub for Open-source Room Acoustics Software) is a web-based platform that brings together multiple room acoustics simulation methods within a single open-source environment. It was developed over five years through an NWO-funded project at Eindhoven University of Technology, in close collaboration with room acoustics consultants, industrial partners, and an international network of researchers. Today, its future development is supported by the Open Acoustics Foundation.
Through hands-on training, developer talks, and interactive discussions, you'll learn how to use CHORAS effectively, connect with the people behind the software, and contribute to the growth of an open, community-driven acoustics platform. Whether you're an acoustic consultant, educator or researcher, this is an opportunity to become part of the community shaping the future of open acoustics.
If Eindhoven is not within easy reach for you, we recommend arriving the evening before the meeting. You can book a hotel yourself, and we will reimburse €100 towards your cost afterwards.
