## CHOP ’EM UP: PART V
For its fifth edition, **CHOP ’EM UP** returns for Halloween, pulling together a lineup from three corners of the bass music realm - from one of electronic music’s most enduring shapeshifters to two artists helping define where dubstep is heading next.
**FEED ME**
Jon Gooch has spent more than two decades refusing to stay in one lane. First emerging from the UK drum & bass scene as Spor, he introduced Feed Me in 2008 and quickly became one of mau5trap’s defining artists, folding electro, dubstep, drum & bass and flashes of everything in between into his hyper-detailed productions. Albums like *Calamari Tuesday* established a world of their own, complete with Gooch’s Sotto Voce imprint and the grinning green creature that has followed Feed Me from record sleeves to his enormous Teeth live show.
He hasn’t exactly been looking backwards either. *Feed Me’s Vintage Rally Championship* arrived in 2024, followed by the sprawling *Felt Sick* in 2025, another showcase for a producer who still seems determined to make every track obey a different set of rules. Around them came “Pantheon II,” an all-star collaboration with Seven Lions, K*ll The Noise, Andrew Bayer and others, and a remix of SVDDEN DEATH’s anthem “Magic Armour” for *VOYD Vol. 2.5*. In 2026 he’s kept moving with “Another Level,” a mega-collab with Flux Pavilion and K*ll the Noise, as well as the UKF-released “Bad Taste,” reconnecting with the heavier end of bass music while continuing to push the culture forward.
Get ready to eat - he's hungry.
**BEASTBOI.**
BEASTBOI. makes music from “energy + emotion,” which is probably as useful a description as any for a producer whose tracks can move from delicate, almost weightless melodies into absurdly heavy bass without much warning. His recent run of albums, *WINGZ & FANGZ*, *THE BLOOD OF THE STARS* and 2026’s *LOUD AND FEAR* , has pushed that contrast further, drawing from riddim and dubstep without sounding particularly interested in their rules. Welcome to neo-dubstep.
**JOKE**
JOKE traffics in dubplates rather than a conventional release cycle. His discography is packed with unreleased music, VIPs, refixes, bootlegs and one-off specials. It’s an old soundsystem tradition finding a very contemporary audience. Don't miss a rare opportunity to catch the cutting edge of European riddim live and in person.
