About this Event
Your brain has enough tabs open. This can be the one where nothing is required of you.
Welcome to Chocolate Kintsugi: a hands-on edible art experience for anyone who could use a little less scrolling, comparing, rushing and generally keeping up with everything.
Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, you’ll paint a handcrafted chocolate canvas using edible cocoa butter paints.
Then you’ll break it. Yes. Deliberately.
Instead of hiding the cracks, you’ll rebuild your canvas with shimmering 24k edible gold, making the broken bits part of the design.
There is no perfect reference image to recreate. No gold star for being the “best” painter. No requirement to turn your evening into content.
Just chocolate, colour, conversation and a couple of hours spent doing something with your actual hands.
Your ticket includes:
- Handcrafted chocolate canvas
- Edible cocoa butter paints
- Brushes + all creative supplies
- 24k edible gold
- Take-home box for your finished chocolate
- Tea, sparkling water or seasonal non-alcoholic sips
This one's for you if … 💛
- Your screen-time report has become personally insulting
- The news cycle has been cycling a little too hard
- You need a creative reset without needing to be “good at art”
- You want plans that involve actual humans
- You’re working on making peace with imperfection
- You simply think smashing chocolate and putting it back together with gold sounds excellent
👉🏼 Come solo, bring your favourite person, or make it a date that doesn’t involve staring at each other asking, “So… what do you want to do?”
No artistic experience required. Perfection actively discouraged.
📍Hosted at in Liberty Village, where chocolate gets a little rebellious.
