The 2026 China Film Festival in Singapore lands at GV VivoCity this November! 🇨🇳Presented by the Singapore Film Society, China Film Archive and China Enterprises Association (Singapore), this year’s line-up brings seven Singapore premieres: animated martial arts, historical action, family dramas and a dance film inspired by classical Chinese painting. Together they’re stories of aspiration, ambition, human connection and the bonds between generations.
Leading the way is Peng Fei’s offbeat comedy Take Off 飞行家, starring Jiang Qiming and Li Xueqin, about an ordinary worker who takes up his father’s unfinished dream of building a flying machine. Also on the programme: I Am What I Am 2 雄狮少年2, As the Water Flows 翠湖, Keep Real 特立独行, Dunhuang Warriors 敦煌英雄, It’s OK 我，许可 and A Tapestry of a Legendary Land 只此青绿.
