The China Cats play jam band, psychedelic rock, and American roots music. This much loved Santa Cruz quintet approaches the Grateful Dead's catalog with deep improvisation and creative jamming, focusing on the spirit of a live Dead show. With extended improvisational musical flights and a vast repertoire with over 200 songs from the Dead's catalog, the band regularly pulls out deep cuts and fan-favorite jams.
