The death of a beloved pet or companion animal can bring profound grief and sadness. Yet, this grief is not always recognized or understood by family, friends, or others in our community, leaving people feeling isolated or dismissed. Our Pet Death Grief Support Group offers a welcoming, compassionate space to share experiences, express feelings, and connect with others who understand the meaningful bonds we share with animals.
Over three weekly sessions, participants will explore understanding and normalizing pet grief, making room to grieve, self-care and wellness, continuing bonds and memories, and meaningful ways to memorialize a beloved animal.
Co-facilitated by Elianna Buchan and Karlee Gross, this free support group is open to adults aged 18 and older.
Dates: Thursdays, Nov. 19, Nov. 26 and Dec. 3, 2026
Time: 6–8 p.m.
