For our 23rd Chair-ity Auction, we invite you to COME PLAY AT OUR HOUSE! We will be hosting the auction at the Children’s Museum and are excited to have our supporters get an up-close and personal look at how they have helped BUILD A BETTER FUTURE for the children and families of Skagit County. The Children’s Museum of Skagit County opened our doors in October of 2003 and we continue to grow. To date, we have had over 1,000,000 visitors, and average over 1,000 annual memberships!! We’ve hosted birthday parties, field trips, evening and corporate events and special classes each month. We also have a strong scholarship program, to provide access and reduce barriers for children and families who are experiencing a variety of financial challenges and/or other stressors.
The proceeds from this event support valuable educational programs, the work and operations of CMSC, and the Help Me Grow Skagit Family Resource Center, which are all vital to our continued success.
The in-person event at the museum will include the live and super-silent auction items and the magical experience of being together inside the museum. The auction items feature trips, gift certificates, experiences, chairs, paintings, baskets, plus some scrumptious desserts. Our Fund-A-Need will be the Scholarship Program, which continues to serve critical needs for children and their families. Mike Yeoman will be our auctioneer, and TJ Fantini the emcee for the event.
