🔥 Warm Up & Enjoy the Campfire
Before and after the hunt, come warm up around the campfire near the amphitheater and stop by the Environmental Interpretive Center for hot chocolate and cookies, while supplies last.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to warm up, visit with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the cozy side of winter in the park.
🥫 Start the New Year by Giving Back
We’ll also be holding a Food Drive to benefit a local food pantry. If you’re able, please bring a canned good or other non-perishable food item. Every donation, big or small, can help make a difference for someone in our community. 💚
🥾 Keep the Adventure Going!
After the Candy Cane Hunt, stick around for our First Day Hike at 2:00 PM! Take a walk, breathe in the fresh winter air, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and start 2027 with a healthy dose of nature and adventure.
Whether you come for the candy canes, the campfire, the hike, or simply the opportunity to spend time outdoors with your family, we hope you’ll join us!
🌨️ Please Plan for Winter Weather
January weather can be unpredictable, so please dress appropriately for the conditions and come prepared for cold, snow, ice, or wet weather. Event details, timing, or activities may need to be adjusted if weather or park conditions require changes.
Please check the Friends of Beltzville Facebook page for any last-minute updates, changes, or weather-related cancellations before heading to the park.
💚 Donations Welcome
Your generous support helps the Friends of Beltzville continue offering fun, educational, and family-friendly programs at the park. Every contribution helps us create more opportunities for our community to enjoy and connect with the outdoors.
Come start 2027 with us—outside, together, and making memories! 🌲🍭🔥🥾
We can’t wait to see you at Beltzville State Park!
