After a fantastic appearance at JanFest in September, we’re really pleased to welcome Childe of Hale back to The Sunbeam!Hailing from Runcorn, Childe of Hale bring together alternative rock, new wave and a touch of punk, with melodic 12-string guitar, a strong rhythm section and the distinctive vocals of American frontwoman Jamie. Their sound moves naturally between the jangling, guitar-led feel of R.E.M. and the sharper new-wave energy of Blondie, while retaining plenty of their own character.
They went down brilliantly at JanFest, so we’re looking forward to having them back for a full set at The Sunbeam.
