About this Event
Are you looking for a compact, comprehensive childbirth class that will have you feeling ready for your big day? Look no further!
This one-day childbirth class is taught by Certified Lamaze educator Jessica Greene of Kooshlie Care Doula Services and hosted in the beautiful Enka community of Asheville proper.
We value your time and want to make the most of your day.
Class Details:
The class starts promptly at 9 am with a 30-minute lunch break. (Feel free to bring food with you, order delivery, or run and pick up something.) Depending on class size and participation, class ends typically between 3 and 3:30 pm.
What to bring to class:
- Feel free to bring your yoga ball for help with sizing
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows for mild activity for practicing comfort measures*
During class, we’ll discuss:
- What you should have ready pre-birthday
- What you should bring with you to the hospital
- We will help partners understand their value
- We will teach hands-on comfort measures that can be practiced and used throughout pregnancy and labor
You will go home with:
- An informational booklet outlining what was covered in class
- Hospital Packing List
- Knowledge that will empower you and your partner
- Access to a great new community of supporters and friends!
