About this Event
Join Us for Child Care Works: From Awareness to Action!
The Henderson County Early Childhood Taskforce and the WNC Early Childhood Coalition invite you to learn:
- how current child care policy and funding decisions are made,
- opportunities for community advocacy, and
- how to turn your own experiences into powerful stories to help decision-makers understand why child care matters
Families are welcome! Professional childcare will be provided for the first 15 children of adult attendees registered (by Oct. 5).
Our presentation will start at 3:15 and last less ~30 minutes. It will be followed by community building and opportunities to engage with other advocates and families.
Follow @hcearlychildhoodtaskforce on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
We can't wait to see you there!
