Welcome to the Chief Justice John D. Minton Award Dinner! Join us for a night of celebration and recognition at La Gala.
This award honors the career and legacy of Chief Justice John D. Minton, Jr., and his work to improve the legal system and make it more accessible and efficient for all Kentuckians. The award is given to a Second District Kentucky attorney who embodies Chief Justice Minton's outstanding character, professionalism, and commitment to promoting and advancing the fair and impartial administration of justice in the Commonwealth.
This year, we are proud to honor R. Harvey Johnston, III, of Bowling Green with the Chief Justice John D. Minton Award for his outstanding contributions to the legal community.
The evening will begin with cocktails at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2027, at La Gala, 601 State Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky. The program will feature inspiring remarks, opportunities to connect with fellow members of the legal community, and a celebration of the values exemplified by both Chief Justice Minton and this year's honoree.
