Come learn how to dispatch (harvest) chickens in a respectful, ethical, and informative way.There will be headless chickens, carcasses, blood, and guts.
We will respectfully dispatch chickens. You are welcome to do so, or I will dispatch.
Then we will pluck the feathers off and parcel out the meat into breasts, thighs, organ meats, and carcass. You will have to cut the meat yourself, I am just there for guidance. You can take the whole chicken home, but you will be missing out on learning how to process a chicken.
You will have the option to take the meat home if you wish.
Cost:
Individual, does not take home meat: $20
Individual, takes home meat: $35
Family, does not take home meat: $30
Family, takes home meat: $30 + $15/bird
