About this Event
Chicago Climate Connect x Windy City Sustainability Professionals: The Here Now Project Film Screening
Chicago Climate Connect and Windy City Sustainability Professionals are teaming up with the filmmakers behind The Here Now Project for a special community screening at Patagonia Fulton Market.
The Here Now Project is a 75-minute documentary about extreme weather, climate change, and the human experience of living through these events. Rather than approaching climate change as something abstract or far away, the film brings together firsthand stories that make its impacts immediate, personal, and difficult to ignore.
Greg Jacobs, a Chicago-based filmmaker and one of the creators of The Here Now Project, will introduce the film and join us for a short post-screening discussion to explore its themes and reflect on how we can each turn what we've learned into meaningful action.
We’ll also leave some time to connect with one another before and after the film.
This event is free, and registration is highly recommended as space is limited!
When: Wednesday, November 4 | 6:30–9:30pm
Where: Patagonia Fulton Market | 1115 W Fulton Market, Chicago
