Beyond the Nutcracker — Ballet 5:8
Chicago Artopia is proud to partner with Ballet 5:8 to present Beyond the Nutcracker, a moving story of hope, wonder, and the transformative power of light.
Set against the backdrop of war and Christmas in London, Beyond the Nutcracker follows Abrahms, a wounded soldier given another chance at life, and Emma, a young girl whose imagination carries her into a dreamlike journey through the story of Christmas.
Through beautiful choreography, music, and storytelling, audiences will travel from the hillsides of Bethlehem to celebrations around the world, discovering how love and kindness can bring light to even the darkest places.
What to Expect: A captivating ballet experience for audiences of all ages, combining storytelling, artistry, faith, and the magic of Christmas in a fresh and meaningful way.
