About this Event

Stewardship begins within.

Join Shamballah Home & Gardens and Blue Lotus New Paradigm Healing for a rejuvenating morning of movement, energy, and connection in the beautiful surroundings of Zilker Botanical Garden.

Gathered beside the Rose Garden, we will practice Chi Do—a simple yet powerful method for working with chi, the vital life-force energy that flows through every living being.

Unlike Tai Chi or Qigong practices that may involve learning a long sequence of forms, Chi Do is approachable and easy to follow. Its simplicity makes it accessible to those experiencing chi practice for the first time, while its depth offers something meaningful to experienced practitioners as well.

No previous experience is needed. Simply arrive as you are, ready to breathe, move, and connect.

What Is Chi Do?

Chi Do is a moving energy practice designed to help you consciously engage with the life-force energy within and around you. Through a simple sequence of intentional movements, participants can strengthen their awareness of chi and support greater vitality, balance, clarity, and flow.

Because the practice does not require memorizing a long series of forms, you can relax into the experience and focus on what you feel rather than worrying about whether you are “doing it right.”

The Garden as Our Classroom

A garden is a living lesson in the movement of energy. Roots draw nourishment from the earth. Leaves receive light. Water and nutrients circulate. Growth unfolds through a continual exchange between the organism and its environment.

The same life force that moves through the garden also moves through us.

Practicing Chi Do among the plants invites us to experience that connection directly—to tend our inner landscape while surrounded by the beauty and vitality of the natural world.

Cultivate Life Within and Around You

At Blue Lotus, stewardship begins with tending the mind, body, spirit, and energy of the individual. At Shamballah Home & Gardens, it extends outward into the landscapes and ecosystems that sustain us.

Chi Do in the Garden brings these two expressions of stewardship together.

Join us for a morning of conscious movement, living beauty, and connection with the energy that flows through all life.
