Madhesi Community Association of WA Inc. warmly invites everyone to celebrate Chhath Puja 2026, one of the most sacred and cherished festivals of the Madhesi community.
Chhath Puja is a beautiful festival dedicated to the worship of the Sun God (Surya Dev) and Chhathi Maiya, expressing gratitude for life, health, prosperity and well-being. It is celebrated with great devotion through traditional rituals, fasting, prayers and offerings to the setting and rising sun.
This is our second year celebrating Chhath Puja here in Western Australia, bringing our community together to preserve our traditions, celebrate our culture and create a little piece of home away from home. ❤️
Let’s come together with family and friends to celebrate this special occasion with devotion, unity, love and happiness.
Organiser: Madhesi Community Association of WA Inc.
🙏 Everyone is warmly welcome. Let’s make Chhath Puja 2026 another memorable celebration for our community!
🌅 Our culture, our tradition, our home away from home! ❤️
