Are you FED UP with people slagging off our fabulous town on t’internet?? How boring..Then come and join us to tell a different story.
In partnership with No More Nowt and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation we’re hosting a day of art and imagination at the cafe. Local artists will be inviting people of all ages to help design Chester-Le-Street of 2036 and make arty placards with a radical message: Chester-Le-Street’s bloody lovely!
We'll be getting creative from 10am-2pm at REfUSE Cafe then we’ll take our creations on a walk around town which will be filmed by our brilliant new team of social media volunteers to spread a little positivity online. No need to book. Just pop in and join the joy.
