We conducted lessons at a few YMCA locations earlier this year. The one at Chesterfield got lots of good feedback and resulted in getting some new dancer in out community. They have invited us to do another class in November. We need a good number of dancers to help the new folks be successful. Lat time we had 18 new dancers in the lesson and about the same number of experienced dancers. Might have more than that this time.
Saturday, November 14 from 1 till 2:30.
In the group exercise room at the Chesterfield Y
16464 Burkhardt Pl – exit highway I64 on the Chesterfield Parkway west exit – turn left. The Y will be about ¼ mile on right and the only building you will see in that strip (right next to the library they are building).
If you are not a Y member – arrive a little early and tell the front desk you are there to help with the contra dance class. The will need a minute to check you in.
Anyone who wants to call a dance during the class – let me know.
Hope we get a good turnout.
