Cheryl D. Holmes-Miller
Cheryl D. Holmes-Miller is the leading voice for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the graphic design industry. Holmes-Miller is an American BIPOC communications designer, writer, artist, activist, and theologian, best known as a design justice advocate and decolonizing historian.

She lectures widely, and in 2023–24 was Professor of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Communication Design, ArtCenter College of Design; Distinguished Senior Lecturer in Design at the University of Texas at Austin School of Design and Creative Technologies; lecturer at Howard University; and adjunct at the University of Connecticut. Holmes-Miller has been awarded the AIGA Medal and a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award as a Design Visionary, and she is a One Club Creative Hall of Fame inductee and an IBM Honorary Design Scholar.

Zindzi Harley
Zindzi Harley is a Philadelphia-based curator, writer, and creative director whose work leverages digital strategies to engage museums as sites of activism. Her research examines Afro-feminism’s impact on culturally specific institutions and contemporary museums. She holds a B.A. from the University of Kentucky and an M.A. from the University of the Arts, where she was the program’s first DEI Fellow. A David C. Driskell Fellow, she is currently pursuing a doctorate in Art Theory, Aesthetics, and Philosophy at IDSVA. Harley has served as Assistant Curator at the African American Museum in Philadelphia and curated exhibitions for Clay Studio and Delaware Contemporary.

She founded the Philadelphia chapter of Black Girls in Art Spaces and has collaborated with institutions such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Fabric Workshop Museum. She is also the founder of Zindzine, a creative agency and arts magazine amplifying BIPOC creatives and cultural brands.
