🧪 Chemical preparedness isn’t just a public safety issue. It’s a community issue. And we want YOU at the table! The Portsmouth Office of Emergency Management and the FEMA ChemPrep Program are hosting a FREE Community Preparedness Seminar focused on chemical incident awareness and readiness.
This event is open to everyone. Portsmouth residents, business owners, nonprofit and faith-based organizations, healthcare partners, schools, property managers, private-sector partners, and anyone who wants to help make Portsmouth more prepared.
We’ll talk about local chemical risks, lessons learned from past incidents, preparedness actions, community capabilities, and ways we can all work together before an emergency happens. This isn’t a lecture. We want to hear what you see, what concerns you, and what capabilities already exist in our community.
✅ Free to attend
