Introducing Cheese & Craft, a brand new series of creative workshops at Indie Füde, bringing together two things we love: good food and brilliant independent makers.
For our first workshop, we're welcoming our wonderfully talented friend Jenni of Jenni Robinson Art for a food-inspired lino cutting session, with a distinctly cheesy twist!
Inspired by all things delicious, Jenni will guide you through the process of creating your very own foodie lino print. From designing your image to carving your lino and making your print, you'll get the chance to try your hand at this wonderfully satisfying craft.
And because this is Indie Füde, there'll naturally be some delicious Irish farmhouse cheese to enjoy along the way. Jenni has even been busy creating some rather fabulous cheese-inspired carvings to get those creative juices flowing!
What to expect
– A relaxed, guided lino cutting and printing workshop with Jenni Robinson

– An introduction to the tools and techniques of lino printing
– The chance to create your own hand-carved design and print
– A selection of Irish artisan cheeses to nibble on while you get creative
– A lovely afternoon of making, chatting and trying something new
No previous experience necessary, and absolutely no artistic talent required. Just bring yourself, a little imagination and perhaps an appetite for cheese!
Whether you're a seasoned crafter or haven't picked up a carving tool in your life, this is a chance to slow down, learn something new and leave with something you've made yourself.
