About this Event
CheckMate Lates brings great games and even better company over the board to Hammerton Brewery, Islington.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just after an excuse to see mates over a casual game, our club is for you. The night runs from 6:00pm, with a Lates Coaching Corner for beginners.
Fancy throwing your hat in the ring? It's £5 to enter our Knockout Lates tournament — split into beginner, intermediate and advanced sections, with prizes for the winners — and your entry includes your first collectible CheckMate Lates beer mat.
Round it off with our pizza and a pint for £12, good music and a mystery Grandmaster guest.
See you over the board.
PS. please 'reserve a spot' here on Eventbrite to help us plan for numbers.
