About this Event
Charly Mezcal is not a traditional mezcal tasting.
It is a 90-minute bilingual experience built around five carefully selected mezcals and five food pairings, brought to life through music, projected imagery, storytelling, history and Mexican culture.
Exclusively at Zagaz in Roma Norte, each mezcal becomes a chapter in the evening: the agave, the region, the people behind it, the traditions that shaped it and the flavors paired with it.
You’ll taste five ¾-ounce pours, each accompanied by a food pairing created by Zagaz, while Charly guides the room through the stories, places and culture behind what is in the glass.
The experience is intentionally intimate and limited to just 20 guests, creating something closer to a live cultural experience than a traditional classroom tasting.
English and Spanish speakers are equally welcome. Guests must be 18 or older.

Es una experiencia bilingüe de 90 minutos construida alrededor de cinco mezcales cuidadosamente seleccionados y cinco maridajes, acompañados de música, proyecciones, historias, cultura e historia de México.
Exclusivamente en Zagaz, en Roma Norte, cada mezcal se convierte en un capítulo de la noche: el agave, la región, las personas detrás de él, las tradiciones que lo formaron y los sabores que lo acompañan.
Cada invitado probará cinco porciones de ¾ de onza, cada una acompañada por un maridaje creado por Zagaz, mientras Charly guía al grupo a través de las historias, los lugares y la cultura detrás de cada copa.
La experiencia es intencionalmente íntima y está limitada a solo 20 invitados, creando algo más cercano a una experiencia cultural en vivo que a una cata tradicional.
