Join Arkansas Fly Fishers for a special evening with Charlie Craven on Sunday, November 15 at the Hospitality House in Burns Park in North Little Rock.Charlie is one of fly fishing’s most respected tiers, designers, guides, authors, and instructors. He is the owner of Charlie’s Fly Box in Arvada, Colorado, and the author of Tying Nymphs, Charlie’s Fly Box, and Tying Streamers.
The evening begins with a 4:30–5:30 p.m. happy hour and book signing. Enjoy a drink, visit with fellow fly fishers, and have Charlie sign one of his books.
At 5:30 p.m., enjoy AFF’s Fish Fry—professionally prepared onsite by Adam’s Catfish & Catering. The buffet includes catfish fillets, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, fries, hushpuppies, baked beans, slaw, fried green tomatoes, pickles, onions, tea, lemonade, beer, and wine.
At 6:00 p.m., Charlie will lead an interactive dinner presentation on fly design, tying, fly selection, and the practical details that make flies effective on the water. Expect thoughtful, useful insight from someone who has spent decades helping anglers become better observers, more capable tiers, and more successful fishermen.
Dinner tickets are $25. Members and guests are welcome. No physical tickets will be mailed; simply check in at the door.
