Charlie’s many things to many people, but at his core, his comedy comes from growing up in a big family - he’s one of twelve – taking pride in being a DIY-er, ice fishing and gambling with his grandma. While grounded in Midwest culture, Charlie’s stand-up tours consistently land on a national level, selling over 400K tickets in 113 cities in 32 states, including 9 arena shows in the past 4 years.
He works with many of Wisconsin's homegrown brands, charities, and sports teams and he reaches people most comedians don’t — heavily rural, spanning multiple generations, and straddling both sides of the political spectrum. He has been the face of Wisconsin’s Annual Food for the Holidays Campaign for the past four years and lately, he’s been advocating for Wisconsinites against A.I. data centers and found himself squaring off with tech giants and politicians like a modern-day Erin Brockovich. Wisconsin gave Charlie a voice and now he's giving back.
