The season opens October 23–24, 2026, 7:30 pm, at the WV Culture Center with the world premiere of The Legend of Mothman, an original ballet inspired by one of West Virginia's most enduring mysteries. Choreographed by K.R. Pauley, the production combines dance, the innovative projection technology of Carol and Mike DelGrosso, an innovative story by Deborah Novak, and a unique score by composer Matt Jackfert to bring the legendary Appalachian cryptid to the stage.
