This forum will take place in the Lansdowne room at KGV, ground floor on the left.
A recent hot topic of discussion were matters relating to employing staff (HR). These covered a wide area from managing and supporting your senior staff member, what you should expect of them in HR matters and any advisors you may engage and your legal responsibilities.
We are delighted to say that Katie Bellingham, Focus HR has kindly agreed to lead a workshop in partnership with Paul Beard, one of their partners specialising in management, leadership, human resources and employment law and a regular visitor to the Island. One such day is 17th November, so we are delighted to be able to take advantage of that over a lunchtime session.
Another topic was the benchmarking of charity sector staff salaries, and we are pleased to say that Redwood Group have introduced us to PayPulse who offer a very user friendly service which we hope to demonstrate on 17th also. They have kindly offered this free of charge to our members.
