CHAPTERS – The DesiMotion Story is a powerful theatrical dance production that brings these moments to life through music, movement and storytelling. Directed and choreographed by Shivani Govender and written and co-directed by Sashin Kandhai, the production transforms the real-life journey of DesiMotion into a moving stage experience.Inspired by true events, the story follows the rise of a dream, the strength of family, the pain of setbacks, and the courage required to begin again. From humble beginnings to dazzling successes, from devastating challenges to remarkable rebirth, CHAPTERS celebrates resilience, perseverance and the unbreakable belief that every setback can become a stepping stone to something greater.
Through breathtaking choreography, powerful narration, emotional storytelling and a cast made up of the DesiMotion family, audiences will be taken on an unforgettable journey through love, loss, friendship, faith and triumph.
