In a time marked by profound transitions—social, technological, and democratic—intergenerational collaboration is no longer optional: it is essential.
The Changemaker Days: Voices Across Generations brings together young changemakers, institutions, social innovators, and community leaders from across Europe to co-create new pathways for systemic change. Hosted in Parma, on the journey towards becoming European Youth Capital 2027, the event positions youth participation as a powerful driver for transformation—across sectors, generations, and borders.
From voices to action: shaping the future together
At the heart of the day is a collective process that starts from the voices of young people across Europe and translates them into concrete insights for decision-makers.
Through participatory sessions, contributors will explore key societal challenges along four interconnected “Paths of Transformation” aligned with Parma European Youth Capital 2027 :
- Youth Participation
- Wellbeing and Quality of Life
- Culture and Sustainability
- Conviviality of Differences
A growing ecosystem of changemakersThe event will welcome 200 participants from across Europe, including:
Young changemakers from Ashoka networks and partner countries
Local youth representatives and community actors
Institutional stakeholders and policy influencers
Social innovators, civil society organizations, and foundations
Bridging generations to unlock systemic change
What makes this event unique is its intentional intergenerational design.
