Lunch, networking and partner stalls!
As part of Challenge Poverty Week, the Perth & Kinross Anti-Poverty Taskforce (APTF) is bringing together third-sector organisations, community groups, public services and local partners for a practical and solution-focused conversation about poverty in Perth & Kinross.
The event will create a space to share experiences, explore what is already working, identify what needs to change and consider practical solutions.
Partner contributions will include:
Poverty Alliance – National perspective on Challenge Poverty Week and wider poverty priorities.
Home Energy Scotland – Energy costs, available support and barriers to accessing help.
Tactran – Transport, access and the work being developed with the Local Employability Partnership and APTF.
Fairer Futures Partnership – Local partnership working and community action to tackle poverty and inequality.
Round-table discussions
The main part of the event will be an opportunity for participants to share their views and identify practical actions.
