About this Event
Free to attend but if you'd like to chalk and have the opportunity to win prizes, paid registration is required. No need to bring your own supplies! Registered participants will receive a designated pavement square and a complete chalk art kit. Chalking begins at 10:00 a.m., giving artists plenty of time to turn their squares into works of art before judging begins at 4:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m., with prizes awarded in each category, plus Audience Choice Awards.
Businesses and community organizations are invited to be part of the ChalkFest fun! Whether by sponsoring the event or registering a team, there are plenty of ways to support the arts, connect with the Reston community, and enjoy a memorable day of creativity and team-building. With more than 1,000 visitors at past events, ChalkFest at Reston Town Center is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community while showing your support for local arts and culture.
