Join us for a lushious afternoon/evening retreat - a nourishing solstice ceremony, to enliven and rejuvenate, to immerse in nature, ceremony and celebration. Welcome to the CHALICE OF THE SUN - celebration of the Summer Solstice: Cacao Ceremony + reflection, Deep Dancing, shaking out the old and embracing the new, followed by slow and low deeply replenishing somatic yoga and a long drifting nidra. To finish the day we take a dip if you dare in the beautiful ocean a stones throw away. and finish the day with a delicious and nutritous vegetarian feast made with love by the beautiful vegetarian chef Tom Gabites. AND with tea and treats to send you to bliss and back. Sit beside the outside fire and rest - A beautiful balance of joyful celebration and nourishing rest.
We gather to celebrate the longest day of light of the year, Summer Solstice, the dance between light and shadow, the celebration of the fullness of the sun and the magic that happens when we gather, hold space and celebrate together on these sacred dates.
Solstice comes from the Latin solstitium, meaning “sun stands still”, the longest day of light in summer, and the shortest in winter.
It is a moment to pause, reflect, and return to your breath and own rhythm before the end of the year.
To honour the solstice, we're offering you an invitation to awaken, enliven and open your heart to your truest vision, to return to self and celebrate who you are and this beautiful and wild life on planet earth. The wins, the losses, the loves and the challanges of being truly ALIVE in and to this moment.
