Southern First Nations Secretariat (SFNS) will be onsite at Bluewater Health to support individuals with applications related to Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) cards and registration under the Indian Act.Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Resource Centre, Bluewater Health – Sarnia site
89 Norman St., main doors, first floor to the left
Individuals attending are asked to bring the required identification and supporting documents.
For SCIS card renewals/applications, please bring:
One valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence, health card, photo card or passport)
For registration under the Indian Act, please bring:
Long-form birth certificate
One valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s licence, health card, photo card or passport)
Family lineage information
If applying for a child, valid identification for the parent(s) is required.
