About this Event
Cermamic workshop - Small dipping bowls
Join us for a fun and hands-on in-person ceramic workshop where you'll learn to create your own small dipping bowls! Whether you're a beginner or just want to get creative, this session is perfect for you. Come get your hands muddy, explore different techniques, and take home unique handmade bowls. No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm!
Small dipping bowls Making by Hand You’ll create a set of small dipping bowls using black textured stoneware clay. The bowls are formed by rolling the clay and gently tearing it around a simple guide, before being shaped around a sphere to achieve a refined, balanced form. The process is a slow, hands-on approach, with a focus on material, proportion, and touch. Step-by-step guidance is provided throughout, making the session accessible to all levels of experience. Glaze Selection Once your pieces are complete, you’ll choose from two carefully selected glaze finishes, chosen to complement the black textured stoneware and suit everyday use at the table. Firing & Collection Your bowls will be glazed and fired in my studio. Finished pieces will be ready to collect approximately three weeks after the session.
