⭐️ Ceremonial Ecstatic Dance ⭐️
Experience an evening of ecstatic dance with afrohouse grooves and shamanic rhythms whilst also including an intimate cacao ceremony to connect everyone within the space

Parking: Car park outside venue
Entry: Strict entry between 7 PM - 7.30 PM only.

⭐️ What is ecstatic dance?
The intention behind ecstatic dance is to create a space where you can go to dance and enjoy music (just like a night out) but without the pretence and alcohol. You get all the benefits of having a dj, actual space to dance and be free to dance however you like, whilst also being free to wear what feels right for you. We believe that evenings out should be enjoyable and let you feel fresh the next day, not expensive and leaving you hungover.
⭐️ The music
We aim to play a mix of afrohouse and shamanic music which provides a good mix of feeling good in the moment and dancing whilst also being deep and melodic enough to send you within and really get in touch with yourself. We'll provide the beat as long as you keep moving your feet 💃
⭐️ What is the ceremony?
We honour a cacao ceremony part way through the event and allow people to relax, set intentions and just enjoy a bit of downtime before carrying on. Everyone gets a cup of tasty cacao made with love 😁 We will also have live tribal shamanic music playing at this time.
How the evening will look:
- 7pm - 7.30 Entrance
- 7.30pm - 8.15 Warm up dance with icebreakers
- 8.15 - 8.45 Cacao ceremony and live shamanic music
- 8.45 - 10pm Live DJ (Afrohouse)
- 10pm - 10.30pm Fruit social
- 10.30pm Close
A few things to know:
• Dress comfortably — think calm, cosy, free to move
• No phones or talking on the dance floor — this keeps the space pure and present. Turn the phone off or keep on silent during the event so the space is not disturbed.
• No alcohol or illegal substances!
• Strict entry between 7:00pm and 7:30pm only
• Car parking available outside the venue

Please note: entry only between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM!!! – Late arrivals will not be admitted. To respect those who have arrived on time and for us to be able to create the space inside, doors will be closed at 7:30 pm sharp.
