Welcome to Central MAhj's Social Mahjong League!
Looking to start your week off just the right way? Join us in person for some fun, laughs, and, of course, mahjong! Whether you're a pro or just curious, this is the perfect spot to meet new friends and sharpen your skills. Don’t miss out on the great vibes and friendly competition. Grab your tiles and let's play!
Players will be grouped by ability initially. Bring your NMJL card for 6 weeks of fun, prizes, laughs and tiles around these tables. League will run 6 consecutive Sunday nights on 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/28 and 12/6!
Knowledge of and ability to play American mahjong independently required. There will be no lessons offered at these events. Unlike a lesson setting, League is about playing. You'll have the opportunity to learn through repetition, develop strategy, and become more comfortable making decisions at the table. Also, who doesn't enjoy weekly door prizes, league standings, and awards for our top finishers?!
