2027 Central Texas BBQ RoundupThe 2027 Central Texas BBQ Roundup is bringing competition BBQ, bull riding, classic cars, animals, families, and community together for one huge weekend at the Huntington Bank Expo.
With a field built for 132 competition BBQ teams, CTBR 2027 will be our largest Roundup yet, while staying focused on what the event was created to do: bring Central Texas together and use great BBQ to support great causes.

Saturday is the main event, with competition BBQ, the car show, People's Choice BBQ tasting, family activities, community organizations, food trucks, animal adoptions, free pet services, and much more throughout the Huntington Bank Expo grounds.
People's Choice BBQ Tasting
One of the centerpieces of CTBR 2027 will be a dedicated People's Choice tasting area featuring 18 BBQ teams serving samples directly to the public.
Come hungry, sample some outstanding Texas BBQ, and vote for your favorite.
More importantly, People's Choice turns BBQ into something bigger. Proceeds will help CTBR support programs benefiting:
Local animal services • Active-duty service members and veterans • Emergency services • Youth education and community programs
Great BBQ for great causes. That's what CTBR is about.
Animal Adoptions & Free Pet Services
Animal welfare will once again be a major part of the Roundup. Families will have the opportunity to meet animals looking for their forever homes while accessing valuable pet services at no cost, including:
Pet adoptions
Pet microchipping with lifetime registration
Pet vaccinations
Pet nail trimming
Pet mini makeovers
CTBR 2027 is being built as a Central Texas community event, not simply a cook-off.
Expect 132 BBQ teams, bull riding, a car show, People's Choice BBQ, food trucks, animal adoptions, free pet services, family activities, community organizations, and more as additional attractions and partnerships are announced.
