Cenotaph haben einen Sommer voller Konzerte und Festivals in ganz Europa hinter sich und kehren nach einigen Monaten für eine weitere Tournee zurück. Diesmal werden sie von Grotesque Ceremonium begleitet, um gemeinsam zwei unterschiedliche Facetten des türkischen Death Metal in einem brutalen Konzertpaket zu präsentieren.
Das Line-up für den Stopp in Wien wird durch REALMS OF CHAOS aus Banská Bystrica ergänzt. Die Band veröffentlichte in diesem Jahr ihr zweites Album „Torment Of Belligerence“, ein Konzeptalbum, das sich den anthropologischen und psychologischen Aspekten des Krieges widmet. An einigen Stationen der Tournee werden sie ihre türkischen Kollegen begleiten und ihre eigene Vision von brutalem und technischem Death Metal präsentieren.
Den Einstieg in den Abend runden die Newcomer-Band Self Disembowelmet aus der Slowakei ab. Sie spielen Slam/Grind/Brutal-Death-Metal, oder wie sie es selbst nennen, „Lobotomy Grind“. Fast alle Bandmitglieder sind ehemalige Mitglieder der Band Ordained. Die Band wird ihr kurzes, energiegeladenes Set mit eingängigen Riffs und aggressivem Gesang präsentieren.
Es erwartet euch also ein Abend, der vier verschiedenen Facetten des Extreme Metal gewidmet ist, vom brutalen Death Metal über Old-School-Düsternis bis hin zur slowakischen Death-Metal-Brutalität.

CENOTAPH brings brutality to Austria, this time with GROTESQUE CEREMONIUM, REALMS OF CHAOS, and SELF DISEMBOWELMENT!
Cenotaph have just wrapped up a summer full of concerts and festivals across Europe and are returning after a few months for another tour. This time, they’ll be joined by Grotesque Ceremonium to present two distinct facets of Turkish death metal in one brutal concert package.
The lineup for the Vienna stop is rounded out by REALMS OF CHAOS from Banská Bystrica. The band released their second album, “Torment Of Belligerence,” this year, a concept album dedicated to the anthropological and psychological aspects of war. At select stops on the tour, they’ll join their Turkish counterparts on stage to present their own vision of brutal and technical death metal.
The newcomer band Self Disembowelmet from Slovakia will round out the opening act of the evening. They play slam/grind/brutal death metal, or as they call it themselves, “Lobotomy Grind.” Almost all band members are former members of the band Ordained. The band will present their short, high-energy set featuring catchy riffs and aggressive vocals.
So you can look forward to an evening dedicated to four different facets of extreme metal, ranging from brutal death metal to old-school darkness to Slovakian death metal brutality.
