Our 10th and Final Annual Cemetery Walk will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, 1pm-3pm at the Rock Lake Cemetery. Learn about the former residents of Lake Mills, as you enjoy a fall day at our beautiful community cemetery. It will be our final annual walk, that doesn't mean we won't hold another in the future, however in order to explore other fun activities we have decided to not carry this event on as an annual event. We would love to share life stories from other area cemeteries, host other type of historic walks etc. so stay tuned for future events!
In the meantime, dress accordingly for the weather on the 18th, tie on your walking shoes and embrace the incredible life stories of our former residents one last time.
A suggested donation of $5 per attendee is much appreciated.
Guided tours will begin approximately every 15 minutes starting at the white tower in the middle of the cemetery with the last group starting their tour at 3pm.
Parking on Pine Street or on adjacent streets is best so cars are not driving through the cemetery during the event.
The event will be canceled IF the weather is predicted to be downpouring rain or heaven forbid a blizzard, but the show will go on if the weather is cool or sprinkling so be prepared.
Please do not bring pets to the event. City Ordinances do not allow dogs in the cemetery, and all trash needs to be taken with you or disposed of properly.
