On Thursday, 1 October 2026, we meet at Constantia Nek for the run to start at 18:00. We will run the Constantia Nek / Cecelia Forest Trail Route.
We start the run in the parking area immediately adjacent to the traffic circle at the Nek, and opposite the restaurant. The route goes out through Upper Cecelia Forest, links up for a short section along the contour path, descends into Kirstenbosch and then comes back along the lower route through Cecelia Forest and back to the Nek.
Difficulty grading: 6/10 (mainly gentle inclines and declines; only very mildly technical for a short section, otherwise not technical at all for the rest)
Distance: 10kms
Fast, Fast-Medium, Medium and Medium-slow pace options available, each with an experienced group leader to cater for different speeds, so provided you can run a flat 10kms in less than 65 minutes, there will be a group for you.

NB: PLEASE ALL DO YOUR BEST TO STAY IN YOUR GROUPS - MOST PARTICULARLY DO NOT RUN AHEAD OF YOUR GROUP LEADER. If you are new to the runs and unsure of the pace of the various groups, then rather run with a slower group initially.
