You’ve never heard Christmas like this before, because no one has. ✨Arvada Chorale presents the WORLD PREMIERE of Celtic Christmas, a major new choral work by Dr. Chappell Kingsland. Carols from the Celtic lands, mostly ancient and a few more recent, are reborn in extraordinary new arrangements for vocal soloists, a 90-voice choir, and Celtic ensemble Strings of Brigid.
Hear familiar favorites like Deck the Halls and O Come, O Come, Emmanuel alongside hidden gems like Patapan and Soul Cake. From tenderness and deep stillness to drinking songs and rhythmic grooves, this is Christmas in all its feeling.
🎶 100 voices + vocal soloists
🎻 Strings of Brigid, live
Dr. Kingsland and Strings of Brigid hope to see this music sung and played around the world every Christmas, and it all begins here in Arvada. Be in the room for the very first performance.
