About this Event
The art brings you in. The people bring you back.
A piece catches your eye from across the studio. A few minutes later, you’re talking with the artist about the place that inspired it, or watching them work on something you hadn’t noticed. When you look again, you see more.
Since 1991, those encounters have been at the heart of Celebration of Fine Art. From January to March, artists from across the country gather beneath Scottsdale’s iconic white tents, turning 40,000 square feet into working studios where visitors are welcome to linger. Ask about a brushstroke. Hear how an idea began. Get to know the person whose work you may one day live with.
Susan and Jake Potje have spent decades nurturing this community. Their care extends from the artists they bring together to the welcome you feel walking in. Artists work alongside friends. Visitors return to familiar faces and discover someone new. A conversation begun one season may pick up right where it left off the next.
Throughout the ten-week season, the work keeps changing. Come back to see how a painting has developed, spend more time with a sculpture you’re still thinking about, or introduce a friend to an artist you’ve met. Your ticket is a season pass, giving you time to find your own connections.
Whether you’re choosing your first original piece or adding to a collection built over years, there is something deeply personal about knowing where a work began and who brought it into being.
Come spend some time under the white tents. There’s a good chance you’ll leave with a reason to return.
