About this Event
Celebrate Value. Discover Talent. Create Opportunity.
Join the Santa Clarita Valley Mayor’s Committee as we celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and this year’s national theme, “Celebrating Value and Talent.”
This inspiring community brunch brings together business leaders, employers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, and individuals with disabilities to celebrate the incredible talent and contributions people with disabilities bring to our workplaces, businesses, and community.
Hear from Laurene Weste, Mayor of Santa Clarita, and leaders from some of the region’s largest employers as they share their perspectives on inclusive employment, the value of a diverse workforce, and why hiring people with disabilities makes good business sense.
And this year, we’re putting entrepreneurship in the spotlight.
Meet local entrepreneurs with disabilities who have turned their ideas, talents, and passions into businesses of their own. Visit their vendor booths, learn about their businesses, and discover firsthand what happens when people have the opportunity to pursue their goals and share their talents with the community.
Enjoy a delicious brunch, hear inspiring stories, discover local businesses, and make meaningful connections—all while celebrating the people, employers, and community partners helping build a more inclusive Santa Clarita.
Come celebrate talent. Connect with opportunity. Be inspired to make a difference.
